* Viacom promotes Sandi Isaacs to vp of licensing with oversight of interactive and international projects for Viacom Products. Within her purview: video games, wireless, software and consumer electronics uses of the Viacom properties. Isaacs came to Viacom from Activision in 2000 and previously served as the executive director, licensing.

* Educational software provider LeapFrog Enterprises brings in Fred Forsyth as company COO. The former CEO and president of fulfillment and direct marketing service NewRoads, Inc., Forsyth has a long history in the computer business (Apple, GE, DEC) and will oversee product development, engineering and worldwide manufacturing and logistics. LeapFrog reported a 57% net sales increase in Q2 2003 over same period last year, with a net loss reduction of 48%. The company, which makes proprietary interactive reading instruction consoles, plans to release three new platforms by the end of 2003.
