Try, Try Again: Can Xfire Massively Monetize Multiplay?

Xfire and AIM seem to be learning an important lesson from the early history of the Internet, where email proved to be the true killer app and dating and personals sites were the most successful form of paid content. The Internet is a communications medium as much as it is a content medium, and so giving people tools with which to link up with others like themselves is one of the smartest places to be.
