* Following numerous other company resignations, Blizzard co-founder Allen Adham leaves the legendary development house for VUGames to pursue a career in finance.

* As it looks for greater visibility and credibility in the gaming industry, Infinium Labs appoints former Microsoft Direct X and Xbox guru Kevin Bachus president and COO for the company as it continues to prepare for its long-awaited Phantom gaming console. Bachus will oversee all aspects of the company's marketing, sales and R&D.

* Multiplayer mobile gaming developer Kayak Interactive appoints Kevin Bradshaw vp of business development. Bradshaw was former CEO of wireless multiuser game developer Digital Bridges.

* Unconfirmed reports claim that Atari has closed longtime developer Legend Entertainment after the disappointing sales from its Unreal II title. The D.C.-area firm was well-known for developing deep, story driven adventures.
