The latest in the Wollowbe Woods Campfire Series of children's picturebooks, A Team Of One is the story of a young racoon who becomes frustrated as part of a scavenger hunt team of the great Willowbe Woods. He splits off to search by himself, but soon comes to miss his friends and realize that he is a valuable part of the team. Robert Sauber's colorful illustrations of cheerful, cooperative, and hard-working animal friends add a warm-hearted vibrancy to Ila Wallen's simple tale of self-worth and discovery. Highly recommended.
