Comedy and danger come to life in an audio the entire family will enjoy. Ditto for Sid Fleischman's classic BY The Great Horn Spoon! (1932076719, $34.00), a recommendation for ages 10 and up telling of the lure of gold in 1849 California, and of young Jack Flagg of Boston, who answers the lure of gold to find civility does not exist out West. Can they survive Gold Rush California? Both are wonderful family listening picks.
