Michael Ware is the retired Director of the National Motor Museum at Bealieu, and in Veteran Motor Cars, provides a fine pamphlet on veteran cars--those British vehicles made not later than 1918. Black and white vintage photos of these classics liberally pepper a discussion of Britian's earliest vehicles, describing how the car developed in the 1880s and 1890s.
