Revised from a 700-page anthology that the Women's Publishing House in Hanoi brought out in 2003, this anthology begins with oral folk poems, then strolls from the 11th century to the 21st, presenting Vietnamese originals and English translations of poems by women on facing pages. Biographical sketches of the poets are presented in the back matter, where any other publication of the poems in English are also identified.
