This resource provides a guide to legal research in special practice areas, with analysis of sources that include statutes, legislative histories, regulations, case law, journals and law reviews, and others. The 2004 supplement contains revised coverage of legal resources in the following fields: the Uniform Commercial Code, admiralty and maritime law, and federal patent and trademark law. The most extensive changes are to the section on immigration law, which has been largely revised to reflect changes instituted post-9/11. Hazelton is associate dean for library and computing services and a professor of law at the U. of Washington School of Law.
