Lemoff's (National Fire Protection Association, Quincy, Massachusetts) text is designed to assist enforcers or users of the National Fuel Gas Code in installing gas piping, gas appliances, and venting for gas appliances. The sixth edition includes new material on installation of appliances in attics providing requirements for entryway size, length of travel path and ceiling height, flooring, lighting, and electrical outlets. In addition, chapters have been reordered; pipe sizing tables have been relocated into a chapter with natural gas and propane tables, and all tables extended to cover steel, copper, and high pressure polyethylene pipe lengths up to 2,000 feet, and low pressure polyethylene to 500 feet; and entries in the chapter of definitions have been reordered and reorganized by category. Illustrated with b&w photographs, diagrams, tables, and charts.
