This book serves as a basic introduction to pediatric imaging, for residents and medical students who are about to begin a rotation in pediatric radiology or prepare for radiology oral boards. Emphasis is on commonly encountered imaging scenarios and pediatric diseases, reflecting questions often asked by residents on the pediatric radiology service and commonly made mistakes. After a chapter on special consideration in pediatric imaging, the book covers imaging of seven different body systems. B&w and color images and photos are included on every page. The book may also serve as a review for general radiologists, pediatric residents, and pediatricians. Donnelly is radiologist-in-chief at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, and professor of radiology and pediatrics at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.
