X-ray computed tomography (CT) is a noninvasive and nondestructive imaging method used in medical and materials applications. MicroCT systems are high-resolution versions of the same equipment. This book offers an introduction to the technology, illustrated with b&w and color images, along with application examples in the physical sciences, engineering, and the life sciences. The first part of the book describes experimental methods, data analysis, and visualization approaches.
