The first chapter of the book offers a thorough overview (42 pages) of the CompTIA certification exams. The book then covers installing and troubleshooting hardware, networking, and solutions to common problems for machines running various versions of Microsoft Windows. The CD-ROM contains hundreds of practice questions for all four of the current A exams. Tests can be taken in four different modes: assessment, certification, study, and flash mode.
