Need more holiday gift ideas? Didn't find the perfect gift to make for Aunt Mabel? Like to pad around on those cold winter evenings but most traditional slippers make your feet sweat?

Well, through much diligence (and taking a break for bouts of hysterical laughter), I may have found the perfect project for you. Now, I must first say two things: 1) Even though Mary says she wants to "have a little fun around here," when I showed her the special project I found online she said something like, "Uh, um, well gee Kathie, this issue is a little full right now" and 2) Those of you with Internet access may already have seen this ingenious little project by jesdocswife. A Google search produced 1,520 hits for the words "maxi-pad slippers."
Here's my version for those fabulous little slippers. If you don't have a computer, I'm sure you can figure out how to make a pair for yourself or Aunt Mabel Honest.
