American's AAdvantage and Delta's SkyMiles programs members can earn up to 15,000 bonus miles when obtaining student loans from Loan to Learn. (Since Loan to Learn is a private, for-profit enterprise, it should go without saying that scholarships and government-subsidized loans should be taken advantage of first, before resorting to higher cost lines of credit from the private sector.) Continental OnePass

To accommodate OnePass upgrades, Continental plans to double the number of first class seats offered on its Boeing 757-300 aircraft."We are seeing a significant increase in demand for our first class product, a result of our competitive fares as well as our complimentary upgrade program for OnePass Elite members," Larry Kellner, Continental's chairman and chief executive officer, said in a statement. The reconfigured planes, which will begin seeing service later this summer, will have 24 first class seats. Continental will also expand its Boeing 757-300 fleet from nine to 17 aircraft.
