KLM Royal Dutch Airlines
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has launched a non-stop service to the Peruvian capital, Lima. From London the best alternative route is via Miami and onwards with American Airlines, another possibility being Iberia, via Madrid. KLM's option, whilst direct, includes a stop at Bogota. Mar 27, 2007

KLM launched six-times-weekly nonstop Amsterdam-Lima service Sunday aboard Boeing 777-200ERs, becoming daily Dec. 1. Through Saturday, Lima service was via Bonaire aboard MD-11s. Mar 26, 2007

Malev Hungarian Airlines
Malev Hungarian Airlines followed Royal Jordanian into oneworld yesterday, becoming the group's 10th member. "It is vital in today's airline industry for a medium-sized airline like Malev to have the best of the best as partners to achieve long-term efficiencies and sustainable profitability," Chairman Boris Abramovich said. Malev adds 10 cities to oneworld's network, which will include Macedonia and Montenegro for the first time. Mar 29, 2007
Virgin Atlantic
Virgin announces onboard film festival Virgin Atlantic is partnering with the U.K.'s National Film and Television School to showcase new film making talent to airline passengers in its own Film Festival in the Sky. Passengers can watch the films onboard and then vote until the end of June to come up with a list of six films that will be shown during flights for a further three months. Mar 29, 2007
