DAVID HAMILTON
David Hamilton, a member of the Senior Executive Service, is Deputy Director of Test and Evaluation, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Washington, D.C. In this position, he is responsible for policy, resources and oversight of developmental and operational testing, and is a focal point for foreign materiel acquisition and exploitation.
Mr. Hamilton served in the Air Force from June 1969 until he retired in the rank of colonel in 1999. While on active duty as a career fighter pilot, he accrued more than 500 combat hours, including 50 missions over North Vietnam in the F-4. He has flown all models of the F-16, including the F-16CJ, and has amassed more than 1,600 hours in operational and test flying activities. He has held several key operational positions to include squadron and test group commander. Mr. Hamilton has served on the Air Staff in both operations and in research and development, and as a force programmer at Air Combat Command.
