Drawing Together To Build Character, by licensed clinical social worker and registered art therapist Marge Eaton Heegaard, is a compendium of simple worksheets children can use to draw upon and express their feelings. For example, one worksheet reads "I once did something that I knew was wrong. I thought it would make me feel good, but I felt bad." (Draw what you did.), followed by a large empty space for the child to draw, followed by "Honesty brings good feelings. Being dishonest brings guild and other difficult feelings." An excellent guide for sharing quality time and promoting communication within the family.
