JCN Newswires, August 1, 2007

Tokyo, Japan, Aug 1, 2007 - (JCN Newswire) - KDDI is pleased to announce that KDDI 'Global Powered Ethernet', a data service for commercial customers, will expand to include Korea from August.

KDDI 'Global Powered Ethernet', an international wide-area Ethernet service, enables intranets linking several centers to be constructed economically. This enables communication between overseas centers, the volume of which is growing, to be achieved with high quality at reasonable cost.

KDDI's 'Ethernet Service', rated the best in the Japanese market for the last four years in a row, launched international services in September 2006 in America, and is now available in Hong Kong and Singapore as well.

KDDI will continue expanding the area where KDDI 'Global Powered Ethernet' is available, to meet growing demand among businesses for broadband communications and global intranets.
