Software Magazine, June, 1999

Lotus Development Corp. announced the availability of Lotus Enterprise Integrator (LEI) 3.0, a member of the Domino application development family that speeds the creation of collaborative Web applications.

LEI is a server-based integration product, requiring no programming to schedule high-volume data transfer or synchronization between Domino and a broad number of enterprise data sources, including relational database, enterprise resource planning (ERP), and transaction processing systems. LEI consists of a Domino management application and a multithreaded server. It also supports event-driven transfers and data archiving services and is a multitasking, scalable enterprise system.

LEI runs on Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, OS/2 Warp 3.0 or 4.0, HP-UX 11.0, Sun Solaris 2.5.1, and IBM AIX 4.1.4, AS/400, and OS/390.

Available now for an estimated retail price of $7,995, LEI ships with Domino Directory Services, Novell Directory Services, Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) services, previously released connectors for relational database applications, and file and text systems.
