Artemis Active Alert

Software Magazine, June, 1999

Artemis Management Systems recently announced the shipment of Artemis Active Alert for project management.

A database monitoring application, Active Alert notifies project managers when any facet of a project veers from its original predefined course. This allows organizations to take a proactive approach to managing projects and to increase project and resource efficiency.

Active Alert works by constantly searching the database for exceptions to established thresholds or business rules relating to project schedules, costs, and resources. The product also provides different people within the organization with different updates, ensuring that the accountable staff member is receiving the appropriate information.

For a medium-sized enterprise, a typical installation of Artemis' Active Alert costs $25,000 to 50,000.
