CUSTOMER FOCUS - Simulation

Software Magazine, Feb, 2000

SiteAngel 2000 is the latest from Evity Inc., a Web-based application for e-businesses that will enable companies to set and measure goals for the customer experience. From outside the firewall, SiteAngel simulates the customer's navigation through a complete online purchase. The product was designed to reduce the number of customers who abandon their online transaction due to frustration. SiteAngel enables you to define the critical paths that your customer will travel, as well as to determine the frequency with which these paths are evaluated. In addition, when you review a path to see if it's the one you want, you can set notification criteria and choose how you are contacted (by e-mail or pager) when your Web site is not meeting these notification criteria.

SiteAngel 2000 is platform and browser independent, allowing anyone to use the service. It is based on Internet standards for HTTP, HTML, DHTML, and JavaScript, and preserves company-defined SSL encryption. SiteAngel 2000 provides secure log-ins and cookies.

Annual rates for SiteAngel 2000 begin at $12,000 for one "Angel" per hour; they go up to an unlimited amount of "Angels." Unlimited frequency is $750,000, which also includes 100 hours of consulting.
