Mindflow Technologies presents ProcureMind 1.6, a new version of its strategic sourcing management software. The product offers purchasing managers the ability to create sourcing strategies for items by providing real-time analysis to make cost-effective decisions.

ProcureMind 1.6 includes analysis capabilities that allow a purchasing manager to manipulate and view multiple items. The product then will calculate the price-per-order quantity difference from supplier bids and provide the user with various risk scenarios. Based on the data, a purchasing manager can build a strong relationship with the supplier and take advantage of discounts. In addition, it aims to strengthen supplier negotiation positions.

ProcureMind is a thin client Web-based application. The client portion can run on Internet Explorer or Netscape's Navigator. It runs on any platform that supports Oracle Application Server and Oracle 8i database. Licensing starts at $250,000.
