From OutlookSoft Corp., the Enterprise Analytic Portal (EAP) Release 3 combines planning and performance management processes for financial, sales, and human resources--in real-time. The Web-based EAP software also works in conjunction with popular transaction applications from vendors such as PeopleSoft and SAP.
EAP Release 3 delivers an integrated set of analytic applications and comprehensive business processes including: a single, unified view of multiple data types for consolidated and multidimensional analysis across the enterprise; access from selected outside vendors and partners via an extranet for virtual enterprise-wide planning, analysis, and reporting; collaborative planning and objective setting; integration of all data types; bidirectional information flow (for both entering data and reporting results); and real-time personalized performance analysis and reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

EAP Release 3 contains integrated "packages" of application functionality, called APPacks, with prebuilt capabilities. Available APPacks are Finance APPack, Sales APPack, and Human Resources APPack EAP takes advantage of Microsoft desktop standards of Excel and IE. Managers access EAP-based solutions through an analytic desktop portal that includes a Web browser and OutlookSoft's patented, Web-based, Microsoft Excel component.
The EAP server runs on Windows 2000, NT 4.0 , IS 4.0 or later. Browser support is IE 4.0 or later. A typical subscription runs about $700 per seat, per year.
