SAS Institute has unveiled the SAS Solution for e-Intelligence, software and services that help sustain relationships by personalizing marketing responses. This offering bases marketing programs on target-group information gathered from multiple contact points such as the Internet, extranets, call centers, and campaign management systems.

The solution has three components: e-Discovery, IT Service Vision, and WebHound. Built on SAS Institute's data mining solution, e-Discovery provides analysis for profiling and segmenting, enabling organizations to personalize communications across electronic channels. IT Service Vision ensures reliable performance of an enterprise's e-business infrastructure, including Web servers, networks, and phone systems. Data from these systems is warehoused and analyzed to display usage and predict capacity requirements. WebHound examines clickstreams, providing report templates and supporting ad hoc queries into Web visitor behavior.

Pricing, which includes software and services, starts at $200,000 for e-Discovery, and at $80,000 each for IT Service Vision and WebHound.
