EXECUTIVE MOVES ... Mark Saul joined Pure Software, based in Sunnyvale, Calif., as vice president of sales. Pure also appointed Aki Fujimura vice president of engineering.

Integral, Walnut Creek, Calif., named Mary Ellen Hickey vice president of worldwide field operations. W. Douglas Hajjar was named to its board of directors. John Shagoury was named vice president of business development, and Judith Salerno vice president of support services, both new posts at Integral.

Sam Spadafora was promoted to senior vice president, general manager, worldwide field operations, at The Santa Cruz Operation, Santa Cruz, Calif.

Mike Iiams was named vice president and general manager for the Eastern region at J.D. Edwards & Co., Denver.

Solbourne Computer, Inc., Longmont, Colo., appointed Roger McLean vice president of international operations, Sirio Sconzo Europe area manager, Myril Shaw Asia/Pacific area manager, and Javier Jasminoy Latin America area manager.

Infodata Systems, Inc., Falls Church, Va., appointed Marc D'Alleyrand director of its new Integrated Management Consulting Group.

Jordan Kreindler joined Santa Clara, Calif.-based Rational as a Rational Fellow and as executive director of advanced technology and professional services.

AGREEMENT ... Intermetrics Microsystems Software, Inc., Cambridge, Mass., was signed on as exclusive worldwide distributor of realtime kernel products from Precise Software Technologies, Inc., Ottawa.

The Mozart 3.1 4GL development tool of Mozart Systems Corp., Burlingame, Calif., will support SQLBase from Gupta Corp., Menlo Park, Calif.

Objective Software, Inc., Redwood City, Calif., agreed to market and sell its SpreadBase 1.1 product with DataPrism 2.1 from Brio Technology, Inc., Mountain View, Calif.

Protek Ltd., Maidenhead, England; Norsys Technology AB, Kista, Sweden; Sun Microsystems GmbH, Munich, Germany; and IGL Technology, Paris, will market and distribute the ClearCase software configuration management product from Atria Software, Inc., Natick, Mass.

Cambridge Imaging Technologies, Inc., McLean, Va., announced a cross-licensing agreement with Findex, Inc., Wingate, Texas, for the Find software product.

NetWorth, Inc., Irving, Texas, licensed the [LAN.sup.2]LAN/MPR's Mac Layer Bridge (MLB) software from Newport Systems Solutions, Inc., Newport Beach, Calif., for use in NetWorth's Series 400 Local Ethernet Bridge.

Recognition International, Inc., Dallas, will resell the Univel UnixWare operating system from Univel, San Jose, Calif., with its Plexus FloWare and XDP software products.

Altai Software, Arlington, Texas, and Beta Systems Software AG, Berlin, announced a technology partnership that provides for joint development efforts, shared technologies and resources, product coordination, and the combining of sales and marketing efforts.

American Management Systems (AMS), Arlington, Va., will resell products from Sybase, Inc., Emeryville, Calif., in North America.

CompuServe/Collier-Jackson, Tampa, Fla., will sell and market the Q-CIM product line from Q-CIM, Inc., Princeton, N.J.

NEW VENTURES, EXPANSIONS ... Sybase, Inc., Emeryville, Calif., formed a subsidiary, Sybase Iberia, in Spain.

Sun Microsystems Computer Corp., Mountain View, Calif., opened a subsidiary in Caracas, Venezuela.
