From Help/Systems, Minnetonka, Minn., Robot/Alert 3.0 is an automated paging product for the AS/400.
Robot/Alert's broadcast list feature provides an automatic problem escalation system that notifies the next person up in the chain of command in the event the initial person does not respond to an emergency page. Robot/Alert can be used to send pager messages from a workstation, and programs can send pager messages using the RBASNDMSG command.

Robot/Alert works with any communications line and Hayes-compatible modem. It works with over 90 paging services around the world and can send messages in alphanumeric, tone-only or numeric-only pagers. Pricing ranges from $1,500 to $5,000.
