Airbus Industrie of North America Inc. (AINA), Herndon, Va., has awarded Masterpack International a $2 million contract for the vendor's integrated suite of business application software and implementation services.

AINA will use the Master Pack Business Solution to Manage the spare parts inventory at its materials distribution center in Ashburn, Va. The suite will also be integrated into AINA's corporate financial framework and Airbus' primary material management system in Hamburg, Germany. Charles Fletcher, AINA senior director of information systems, says Masterpack offered a timely implementation schedule and a cost of ownership that was significantly less than competing products.
