BACHMAN/SHARED WORK MANAGER Bachman Information SUPPORTS PARALLEL DEVELOPMENT Systems, Inc., Burlington, Mass., adds workgroup support to application development with the its Bachman/Shared Work Manager.
The workgroup product lets groups of analysts share models while developing applications. The product supports parallel development and helps increase consistency across applications. The model is created in the Bachman/Analyst product, and stored in the shared access design database of the Bachman/Shared Work Manager.
A project team leader can distribute subsets of the model among team members to work on specific areas. Versioning facilities let users track and manage changes between versions.

Fully integrated with Bachman's modeling environment, the Bachman/Shared Work Manager is priced at $5,000 per single-user license. It requires a 386- or 486-based IBM PS/2 or compatible with 12Mb of disk capacity, a two-button mouse, OS/2 V1.3 or higher and a VGA monitor.
