Innovative DP Designs, Napa Valley, Calif., has unveiled the DB2 Toolkit Version 100, a set of integrated tools for DBAs, systems programmers and applications programmers.
Components of the Toolkit include: DB2 Avoid Bind, for reducing bind lockouts; DB2 Resource Governor, used to dynamically change workload assignments at the time the DB2 user begins a QMF session or enters an SQL query; and DB2 Data Collector, which eliminates the complexity and data integrity problems in keeping IMS and DB2 databases in sync.
