Release 6.0 of CA-ACF2, a security, control and audit product from Computer Associates International, Garden City, N.Y., provides centralized administrative control over mainframes and networks through the use of a new Command Propagation Facility (CPF).

CPF permits online viewing and administration of security on remote nodes and ensures that recovery files are maintained. Also included is a System Authorization Facility (SAF) interface, and a SECTRACE facility that enables clients to view the MVS system as a whole and look at all SAF calls.
