MainScript for DOS allows 3270 session automation - AutoSoft Inc.'s micro-mainframe scripting tool - New Products: Mainframe - Brief Article - Product Announcement

AutoSoft, Inc., Roswell, Ga., has introduced MainScript for DOS, a micro-mainframe scripting tool that allows users to create scripts for automating all or part of any mainframe job or series of jobs.

MainScript is compatible with 3270 emulation products. Features include the ability to watch the 3270 screen for, and react to, user-specified strings of text. Bundled with MainScript is EventScheduler, a tool that will schedule an unlimited number of jobs by time, day or calendar date. A 3270 screen can be captured to a PC file, allowing mainframe data to be used by PC-based programs.

A single-user version of MainScript is priced at $199.95; a network version is $499.95.
