Parsons Technology, Hiawatha, Ind., has unveiled ViruCide 2.3, a virus protection program that detects and eliminates a total of 893 strains.
ViruCide features a virus reference file, the capability to run the program unattended from the AUTOEXEC.BAT file, the ability to add to default extensions when scanning overlay files and the ability to scan network drives. The reference file data includes detailed descriptions of each virus and specific instructions for their removal.
