Fortres Grand Corp., Plymouth, Ind., has introduced Fortres 101, a new version of its security software for Windows 95.

Designed to protect shared Windows or DOS PCs from unauthorized use, Fortres 101 offers a new file protection system to prevent tampering with hard drive contents on Windows 95 PCs. Other new features include the ability to import and export security settings, in addition to a diagnostic tool that maintains an audit trail of illegal file operation attempts.

Fortres 101 works with all major networks and on standalone machines. Corporate site licenses are $295 per 50 computers per building.
