Software Magazine, Feb, 1997
Houston-based BindView Development Corp. has announced the NOSadmin for Windows NT module for its BindView Enterprise Management System (EMS), a NOS-independent systems management environment.
With NOSadmin for Windows NT, BindView EMS now provides an integrated view of enterprise management and security across Windows NT, NetWare, IntranetWare and Open NDS. This module analyzes the operating system's security, systems resources and configuration parameters for both NT servers and workstations. The product focuses on security assessment; user account management; server, workstation and application configuration analysis and comprehensive disk space management, all of which are tightly integrated within the BindView EMS object-oriented Enterprise Console. The module was designed to support multi-domain Windows NT networks.
