Spoolview for Unix - DataTrade Inc.'s optical storage and retrieval system for computer-generated reports - New Products: Minicomputers: Systems Management - Product Announcement

Software Magazine, March, 1992

DataTrade, Inc., Springfield, Mo., has unveiled Spoolview for Unix, an optical storage and retrieval system for computer-generated reports.

Spoolview for Unix accepts downloaded reports from any mainframe or midrange system and allows, through specific interfaces, any 3270 or 5250 host terminal to directly access the Unix server and optical storage devices. In cases where a Unix host is being used, no download is necessary; the Spoolview system resides on the host and the optical drives are directly attached via a SCSI interface.

Single-station software license fees for Spoolview for Unix start at $14,500, network versions at $18,000.
