PinPoint Software Corp., San Jose, Calif., has unveiled ClickNet Professional 2.0, a Windows-based network diagramming, documentation and reporting tool.

ClickNet Professional 2.0 is built around an object library of more than 2,300 vendor-specific and general network images. Images are moved into on-screen diagrams via drag-and-drop placement, and ClickNet builds a specialized ODBC-compliant database on each network component behind each diagram. Categories of information include user and node address information, inventory, financial, security, protocols, installed applications, installed cards, user defined fields, notes, hosts, components, configuration and setup files, service history and warranties. Complete network documentation and extensive reporting capabilities are provided.

Priced at $795, ClickNet Professional 2.0 requires DOS 5.0, Windows 3.1, 8Mb RAM and 26Mb of hard disk space.
