NetOp for OS/2; NetOp for Windows - Danware Data introduces network administration tools - Brief Article - Product Announcement

Software Magazine, May, 1997

Danware Data, Boca Raton, Fla., has released Version 5.3 of its NetOp for OS/2 and NetOp for Windows network administration tools.

NetOp allows authorized users to access and control the screen, keyboard and mouse of any OS/2, DOS, Windows 3.x, 95 or NT computer or file server via any major commu-nication protocol. For user verification, both products provide an access server module that enables centralized administration of host/guest security settings. The new versions include individual and global security settings that let administrators control guest access rights. As an extra security measure, the products also enable a host to allow remote control from guests calling from specific addresses.

Guest/host packages for NetOp for OS/2 and NetOp for Windows start at $295.
