Seer Technologies Inc - The Software Magazine 1995 Top 100 - Company Profile - Brief Article

Software Magazine,  July, 1995  by Colleen Frye,  Deborah Melewski

1994 was good to Seer Technologies, whose 1993's software sales of $27.1 million exploded to $52.9 million, an increase of 95%. Total corporate revenue grew to $93.8 million. Professional services provided a substantial chunk of this figure, bringing in $40.9 million.

Privately held Seer declined to disclose profitability for the year, but appears to have solid footing for its planned IPO. The company filed the prerequisite registration with the Securities and Exchange Commission in May of this year.

The flagship offering of the application development tool vendor is Seer*HPS, a repository-based toolset. Seer beefed up its staffing considerably in 1994, adding 271 employees to 1993's number of 463.
