PinPoint Software Corp., San Jose, Calif., has unveiled ClickNet Professional 2.1, a new version of its network diagramming, documenting and reporting utility.
An intelligent, object-based utility, ClickNet is built around an image library of more than 2,300 vendor-specific and general network images. ClickNet builds a specialized ODBC-compliant database behind each diagram. A Network Topology Wizard automatically creates network segments containing any user-defined number and type of nodes using any of eight available topologies. Other new features include multilevel node finding, single and double ring placement, and graphic image import.
