Salute to Steig

I wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed "A Month of William Steig" (May/June 2004). As a librarian, I found the language arts activities, plans, and ideas perfect for finishing up the last month of school with my students. A month of any author would be greatly appreciated. The children really make connections when we do an author study, plus I use Scholastic videos to enhance the study even more.--Diane Lafitte, Timmons Elementary, Shreveport, LA
