Pharaoh party
Instructor, August, 2005
Third-grade teacher Gerry Vidas of Port Charlotte, FL, writes: During a unit on ancient civilizations, my third graders learned about Egyptian customs of long ago by dressing as pharaohs. They played a mummy game in which they wrapped toilet paper around one another to see who could make the best mummy and danced to the beat of The Bangles' "Walk Like an Egyptian."
