Wizzkidz - Web Sitings Interactive ABCs - Brief Article
Instructor, Sept, 2002
At Wizzkidz, teachers can chose between three subject areas (English, Science, or Math) for lessons or games, and set the degree of difficulty according to grade level. One of Wizzkidz's neatest features is the Learning Curve slide show that introduces each topic with color, and clarity. For example, one Learning Curve link helps students learn their ABCs by pairing each letter of the alphabet with a corresponding picture. After the slide show, students advance to a fun matching game that uses familiar symbols. Older kids can practice grammar, work with statistics, or learn about melting points. The sound effects are amusing, the games are imaginative, and Wizzkidz helps make learning a breeze for students ages 4 to 11.
