Instructor, Oct, 2002
Get those ballots ready: The National Student/Parent Mock Election is set for November 1. The mock election will be held worldwide--wherever Americans are based. More than 40 million students and parents have participated since the project began in 1980. "In the 2000 Mock Election, more votes were cast online than had ever before been cast in history," said Gloria Kirshner, president of the mock election organization.
Free curriculum materials for all grade levels will be available on the National Student/Parent Mock Election Web site (http://www.nationalmockelection.com). To enroll in the mock election, visit: www.governmentguide.com, or www.nationalmockelection.com. There is no charge to participate.
