Colorful Contest - What's The Buzz? - sponsored by Sakura - Brief Article

Get your students' artistic juices flowing for the 2002 "Cray-Pas Wonderful, Colorful World Contest," sponsored by Sakura. The contest is open to all K-8 students in the U.S. and Canada. Students can draw anything they want; however, all entries must be created using Cray-Pas oil pastels and must be sponsored by a teacher.

First-, second-, and third-place winners will receive U.S. savings bond awards of $300, $200, and $100 respectively, plus a supply of Cray-Pas. In addition, one teacher, whose name will be drawn at random, will receive an all-expense-paid trip to London. The deadline for entries is December 7, 2001. Winners will be notified in February 2002.
