What would Dr. King do?

Instructor,  Jan-Feb, 2008  by Rubi Bothwell

I let students listen to recordings of Martin Luther King's speeches so they can hear how he spoke. Then I create a few "scenario cards"--descriptions of conflicts that commonly occur in the classroom. Students write what they think King might say in the given situation, and then play King as they present their speech to the group.--Rubi Bothwell, Houston, TX
