CIRCUMSTANCES: Taxiing for departure when a strong electrical burning smell
was detected. A "No Land 3" annunciator was displayed and the
F/O's localizer and glide slope flags displayed.

reported that the right ILS circuit breaker popped, was reset, and popped
again.

AIRCRAFT & REGISTRATION: 747-200 of MK Airlines
CIRCUMSTANCES: Descending thru FL150 enroute short sector AMS-LUX when it
hit a hailstorm. Hailstones the size of golf balls.
DEATHS & INJURIES: Nil

completely stove in, windshield cracked on both sides. Hail can be
encountered in clear air and may not show on radar.

CIRCUMSTANCES: #2 flight management guidance computer (FMGC) froze, #1 FMGC
degraded, and both multi-purpose control and display units froze.

injured when slide 3R deflated. High heels puncture suspected.

CIRCUMSTANCES: Crashed shortly after take-off from Red Sea airport after
reporting an eng failure. One 2yo child survived.

years due to US trade embargo on parts.
