Europe Car Sales Predicted To Decline In 2002

PSA Peugeot Citroen Chairman Jean- Martin Folz said he expects the European car market to drop by 1 percent-2 percent in 2002. In February, PSA said its operating performance in 2002 would depend on whether the car market falls by 1 percent-2 percent, in line with what Folz called a "stable scenario", or falls by 2 percent-4 percent, the "more extreme scenario" some experts predict.
