Visteon Corp. said it has won new business with Nissan for future truck platforms being built for consumers in Europe and North America. Visteon will supply cockpit and climate control systems and serve as the cockpit and climate systems integrators for these vehicle platforms.
"We're very excited about this contract, and the opportunity to strengthen our relationship with Nissan," said John Engebretson, Visteon's North American Regional Director for Renault-Nissan Customer Business Group.

The cockpit module includes: the cross-car beam, the instrument cluster; the mold-in-color instrument panel with integrated passenger airbag; console and climate systems steering column; multi-media head-unit and wiring harness, Visteon said.
