Toyota Motor Corp. is considering building another assembly plant in Europe after increasing sales faster than expected, The Financial Times reported. "We are studying whether we need another plan," Shuhei Toyoda, chief executive of Toyota Europe, said, according to the report.

Toyoda said the company had not begun examining locations, and added that increasing output at the current plants by adding Saturday shifts was also an option, according to the report. The company will shortly set a new target for European sales.
