GM Agrees To Buy $107.5 Million In Car Parts From 19 Korean Companies

General Motors Corp. said it has agreed to buy $107.5 million worth of car parts from 19 South Korean manufacturers, in line with promises made when it bought Daewoo Motor Co.'s passenger car manufacturing operations.

GM will buy wiper systems from Dongyang Mechatronics Corp., steering systems from Mando Co., and tires from Kumho Industrial Co. and Hankook Tire Manufacturing Co.
